Welcome to Bid & Reef (Pty) Ltd. By purchasing from our website, participating in auctions, or placing an order, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
🪸 Livestock Sales
- All marine fish, corals, and invertebrates are sold as live animals and may vary slightly in size, shape, and coloration from photographs displayed.
- While every effort is made to provide healthy livestock, customers are responsible for ensuring their aquarium is suitable before purchasing.
💰 Payments
- Full payment must be made within 48 hours of purchase or auction close unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Failure to make payment within the required period may result in cancellation of the order and/or removal from future auctions.
📦 Shipping & Collection
- Nationwide shipping is available at the buyer’s expense.
- Collection is welcome from Pretoria by prior arrangement.
- Once livestock has been handed to the courier, shipping times and delays are outside of our control.
🛡️ DOA (Dead on Arrival) Policy
In the unlikely event of a DOA:
1. Clear photos and/or videos must be provided within 1 hour of delivery.
2. Livestock must remain in the original unopened shipping bag.
3. No claims will be considered once livestock has been removed from the bag or acclimated.
4. Approved claims may be refunded or credited at the discretion of Bid & Reef.
🔄 Returns & Refunds
- Due to the nature of live animals, livestock sales are final and cannot be returned.
- Refunds will only be considered in accordance with the DOA policy.
⚠️ Limitation of Liability
Bid & Reef (Pty) Ltd shall not be held liable for losses resulting from improper acclimation, unsuitable water conditions, equipment failure, livestock compatibility issues, or circumstances beyond our control.

- Prices, availability, and product listings may change without notice.
- Bid & Reef reserves the right to correct pricing errors and cancel orders where necessary.
